Can't Find Your Camera?

We can't publish a complete list of all supported cameras. The app is free to use, so you can test whether your camera works before purchasing a subscription or spending time on setup.

Supported iPads & iPhones

Device

Connection Method

USB-C iPad

USB cable or USB-C hub

Lightning iPad/iPhone

Apple Lightning-to-USB adapter (not a direct cable)

Recommended Hardware

Note: Many USB-C hubs won't work - iPads are picky. Get your camera working with a direct cable first, then add the hub.

Keeping Your iPad Powered

To charge your iPad while a camera is connected:

  • Use a USB-C hub with PD (Power Delivery) input

  • Use an AC adapter that provides at least 45W

See [Recommended Hardware] for specific product recommendations.

How to Connect

  1. Set your camera to shoot JPG (or RAW+JPG if you want RAW files for later - the app ignores RAW files)

  2. Start the Booth.Events app

  3. Connect your camera to the iPad via USB

  4. Turn on your camera

First-Time Setup

Open Camera Settings in the app at least once. iOS will prompt you to grant permission for USB camera access. Your camera doesn't need to be connected for this step.
