A template assigned to your event that has scenes
An iPad running iOS 17.2 or later
What are “scenes”?
Scenes are the backgrounds your guests can pick from. You can:
Edit an existing template to add scenes
Duplicate a template and add your own
Create a brand new template with your custom scenes
No special green backdrop required - the app uses AI to detect the people in the photo and swap in your chosen background.

Letting guests choose (or not choose) a background
If your template has multiple scenes, guests will pick their favourite after taking their photos.
Want to make sure they always choose one? Edit the template, go to the Scenes tab, and switch on “Force guests to use one of these scenes” in the left-hand panel.

Click edit template
On the top right hand side select Settings
Select Scenes
Upload Scene you would like the subject place on.
If you would like the subject to be placed right on a layer of the template vs captured with a background image and placed on the template - force a transparency layer. (This is helpful when creating a specific visual scene like a magazine cover, sportscard etc.)
Scene blending
Instead of replacing the background entirely, scene blending merges your chosen background with the real photo, creating a more natural look. Watch our quick video to see how it works.
