There are two supported methods for printing when using Booth.Events on a Mac Mini:

Option 1: AirPrint (Foreground Only)

Booth.Events supports native AirPrint on macOS with the following limitation:

  • The Booth.Events app must remain open and in the foreground for print jobs to be processed.

  • Background printing is not supported due to macOS system restrictions.

Option 2: Print.Events App for Windows (Recommended)

For background printing and full kiosk mode compatibility, we recommend using the Print.Events app on a separate Windows machine.

With this setup:

  • The Mac Mini sends print jobs wirelessly to the Windows computer.

  • The Windows machine handles all printing tasks, even if the Booth.Events app on the Mac is running in the background.

  • This ensures seamless and uninterrupted operation, ideal for unattended or automated event setups.
