Change the Default Content for All Events
Go to the Booth.Events web dashboard.
Click your profile photo at the top-right (or click Account in the left navigation).
Under Sharing Settings, click Edit for either Email or Texts.
Customize Messages Per Event
If you want different content for specific events, open that event’s settings and edit the Email or SMS content there.
How Placeholders Work
Placeholders let you personalize messages automatically. A list of available placeholders is shown on each settings screen.
Example:
If you set a subject line to:
Your photos from {{galleryName}}And the event is “Abi’s Birthday,” the email will read:
Your photos from Abi’s Birthday
SMS FAQ
SMS FAQ
Texts are sent as plain SMS.
Booth.Events automatically appends the gallery link and passcode (if applicable).
Keep SMS messages short and avoid spam-trigger words - especially for North American and Scandinavian carriers.
If unsure, use the default text templates. Booth.Events pre-registers these with carriers to reduce filtering.
If SMS aren't being delivered check Spam folder on Android phones or reset messaging to default.
